Steve Malson - Transitional Pastor
517-851-7075 ext 1

Starting March 1, 2020, Steve Malson has been our Senior Pastor at C3. Our plan is that Steve lead us until we have found our next Senior/Lead Pastor. That will most likely happen within a year or so. Here is a bit of his background.

Steve retired (officially) at the end of January so that he could be available to fulfill a passion and call God placed on his life to help churches through times of transition and/or crisis. That is

what brought him to C3.

Steve has pastored two churches. Most recently, he was pastor of Mason Community Church in Mason from 2003-2020. Before that, he was pastor of Fowlerville Church of the United Brethren in Christ 1982-2000.

On the personal side, Steve and his wife Jody (since 9/1/79) live in Mason. They have two boys and three grandkids. Jeremy and Nicole have Katherine (in Fowlerville). Tyler and Ashley have Graham and Parker (in Waterford).

Steve is committed to making disciples and encouraging (yes, pushing) other believers to do so. You can probably find him doing so on the golf course, the lake, in the woods, or wherever he goes. His mantra is 12141^3 which is an encouragement to live this way: One-to-one for ONE (Jesus) through the power of the 3 (Father, Son, Holy Spirit).
