DISCIPLESHIP STRATEGY
Jesus desires his church to live in obedience to the great commandments and commission to
Love God, love one another and make disciples.
As a church we want to help you become more like Jesus by following his commands.
Our Discipleship Strategy exists to help you grow in Christ and mature in your faith.
Gather
Jesus has purchased His people with his blood. In doing so, he has created a family of worshipers. Jesus commands His family to commit their lives to one another and gather for His glory and their good. We gather consistently to grow in Christ and build one another up in Christ.
Heb. 10:24–25
Serve
Jesus has designed His church to be a united group that views itself as one body, with Him being the head. The body of Christ builds itself up into maturity as it lovingly serves one another. There are many opportunities to serve one another in our church.
Ephesians 4
Give
Jesus does not need our money. He is not short on cash. However, God gives resources to His people for His purposes. The needs of every local church are designed to be met by the resources God has given its members. Giving is, first and foremost, an act of worship. When we give, we actively choose to thank God for all He has given us while trusting Him to provide what we will need in the future. Giving to your local church is also an act of love. As we give, we help provide a budget that equips and sends our church family into God's mission within our church and into the world.
2 Corinthians 9
Go
The local church is designed by Jesus to serve as a city on a hill and salt that preserves. The local church is Jesus' primary means by which he equips His people for mission and sends them to reach their city, state, nation, and world with the gospel. We make it our aim to equip our members to grow in love and obedience to Christ and help others do the same. Therefore, we want to send you to your neighbors and the nations. To whom is God calling you?
